Charles Everingham IV is the Northeast Texas Lawyer of the Year for patent litigation
LONGVIEW, Texas – Five Miller Fair Henry PLLC attorneys have been ranked among the nation’s best in several practice areas by The Best Lawyers in America and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch publications, and Charles Everingham IV has been ranked as the Tyler-Longview area’s Lawyer of the Year for patent litigation.
Mr. Everingham, a former magistrate judge in the Eastern District of Texas who holds an Of Counsel role with the firm, represents plaintiffs and defendants in patent infringement cases in the consumer electronics, telecommunications, energy, hospitality and software industries. He also was ranked by Best Lawyers for intellectual property litigation.
The firm’s other Best Lawyers honorees include name partners Andrea Fair, who was recognized for intellectual property litigation and was recently inducted into the International Society of Barristers, and Claire Abernathy Henry, who was recognized in three categories – consumer litigation, patent litigation and intellectual property litigation.
Former U.S. District Judge T. John Ward, who also holds Of Counsel duties with the firm, was honored for intellectual property litigation, and associate Garrett Parish was a first-time honoree in commercial litigation and intellectual property law by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch, which recognizes lawyers in their first decade of practice.
The Best Lawyers honors are the first for the firm under the Miller Fair Henry name, but several lawyers were recognized in past years under the previous Ward Smith & Hill partnership.
