Andrea Fair, along with attorneys from Russ August & Kabat, secured a $121.95 million jury verdict on behalf of AlmondNet Inc. in a case against Amazon. The jury found the e-commerce giant infringed on two patents related to targeted electronic advertisements. The court entered judgment on the verdict totaling more than $136 million.

October 5, 2023

Andrea Fair and Garrett Parish along with attorneys from BC Law Group P.C., secured an $11.5 million verdict for Ollnova Technologies Ltd., with the jury finding that ecobee Technologies violated the company’s patent for wireless sensors and controllers. The $11.5 million verdict was entered into judgment and is now under appeal.

August 14, 2023

Johnny Ward and Andrea Fair, with trial teams from Susman Godfrey LLP and Heim, Payne & Chorush LLP, secured a $37.48 million verdict for Atlas Global Technologies Co., Ltd., against TP-Link Technologies Co., Ltd., and TP-Link Corporation Ltd. The jury found TP-Link infringed five Wi-Fi technology patents. The verdict resulted in a judgment of more than $41 million, currently on appeal at the Federal Circuit.

Finesse Wireless LLC

January 13, 2023

Johnny Ward and Andrea Fair, along with Susman Godfrey LLP, secured a $166.3 million verdict on behalf of Finesse Wireless LLC against AT&T and Ericsson. The jury found AT&T Mobility liable for infringing two patents, rejecting invalidity claims and awarding damages. The verdict eventually resulted in a $181 million judgment, which AT&T has appealed to the Federal Circuit.

August 25, 2022

Johnny Ward and Claire Henry, with a team from Susman Godfrey, secured a $31.5 million verdict for Koninklijke KPN N.V. against Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson and Ericsson Inc. The jury found willful infringement of KPN's patent for enhancing telecommunications infrastructure. A judgement of almost $35 million was entered. The case resolved while pending on appeal.

April 8, 2022

Johnny Ward, Wes Hill, and Andrea Fair, in collaboration with Morrison & Foerster LLP, secured a $41.8 million verdict for Seagen Inc. in a patent infringement case against Daiichi Sankyo Co., Ltd. The jury found willful infringement of Seagen's patent in targeted cancer treatment technology. A judgment was awarded including pre-judgment interest and post-trial ongoing royalties. The judgment is pending on appeal.

March 8, 2021

Johnny Ward, Claire Henry, and Andrea Fair, with co-counsel from Russ August & Kabat, won a $62.7 million patent verdict for Solas OLED Ltd. against Samsung Display Company Ltd. The jury found infringement on patents related to AMOLED functions in Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy Note smartphones. A judgment was entered to include willfulness and enhanced damages of an additional $15 million. The case resolved while pending on appeal.

February 20, 2019

The jury found the defendants infringed on LTE network wireless service patents, awarding $34 million against T-Mobile and $9 million against Ericsson. The case resolved after the verdict.

The jury determined that Samsung infringed Papst's patent covering data transfers in phones and tablets. A judgment awarded costs as well as pre- and post-judgment interest. The case resolved while on appeal.
